Having spent over 50 hours playing Enshrouded, including extensive time in the endgame, I can confidently say that I really like this game.
Graphics
Enshrouded is a visual treat, provided your PC can handle its demanding graphics. Keen Games has poured considerable effort into crafting a beautiful and immersive world. The lighting, while sometimes quite dark at night, enhances the game’s immersive quality.
Replayability
The game can be quite grindy, particularly if you’re playing solo. Collecting resources and dungeon crawling can consume a significant amount of time. Creating a new character might feel daunting due to this grind. However, the option to create a new world with the same character alleviates some of this burden, allowing for continued progression without starting from scratch.
Building System
The voxel-based world of Enshrouded offers fully transformable terrain. With a relatively low build limit, there’s ample room for creativity. The building pieces available are standard for survival games, but the option to use smaller individual blocks allows for incredible detail. You can freely place crafted items or snap them to the world grid. Building underground bases is feasible and streamlined thanks to a feature that instantly removes dirt when you place and then remove a foundation, speeding up terrain clearing.
Gameplay
Despite being in early access, Enshrouded’s gameplay feels solid. Future updates may bring changes to the UI and mechanics. Personally, I’d love to see a first-person view option to enhance the base-building experience and split-screen support on consoles for a nostalgic ’90s gaming night vibe. Customizable map markers would also be a welcome addition.
Combat is satisfying, with a well-timed parry rewarding you by stunning enemies. The game offers flexibility in combat styles with three classic skill trees (fighter, ranger, and wizard) that you can multiclass as desired.
World, Size, Population, Travel Time, and Feel
The world of Enshrouded is expansive and still growing. Keen Games has an ambitious roadmap ahead, promising more biomes, enemies, weapons, and building blocks. Currently, early game areas feel lively and populated, though the desert area could use more content. This newer area understandably feels sparse, but it’s expected to receive more attention.
Story
Enshrouded presents an intriguing start to its story. Humanity’s exploitation of a new resource called ‘Elixir’ inadvertently released the deadly ‘shroud.’ As a ‘flameborn’—a rare individual capable of surviving the shroud—you awaken after humanity’s downfall to help rebuild civilization. While the main narrative is relatively straightforward, numerous lore books and letters scattered across the map provide deeper insight into individual stories.
Overall
Enshrouded caters to a diverse range of players, whether you enjoy multiplayer, solo play, PvP, PvE, base building, or adventuring. With its reasonable price and rich, evolving content, I highly recommend giving this game a try. Keep an eye on our news feed for more reviews!
That’s it from me. Keep gaming!

Towers of Aghasba Review
Towers of Aghasba invites players into a vibrant open-world experience..

Towers of Aghasba invites players into a vibrant open-world experience, blending settlement-building with the restoration of lush ecosystems on a fantastical island. Developed by Dreamlit Entertainment, this title marks the studio’s debut and is available on Linux, PC (Microsoft Windows), and PS5.
A Visual and Conceptual Delight
The game stands out for its visually distinctive style, offering a fresh take on the exploration-survival genre. It centres itself around a core mechanic: rejuvenating the ecosystem. As players plant a colossal tree and upgrade it, the island slowly comes back to life, with flora and fauna gradually reappearing. One of the game’s most rewarding features is to see these physical changes in the world.
Early Development Hiccups
Being an early-access title, Towers of Aghasba is still rough around the edges. Resource gathering, for instance, feels unbalanced. The issue lies less in the cost of items and more in the storage mechanics—small chests hold less than half of the player’s inventory, forcing you to spend more resources simply to store what you’ve gathered.
Similarly, climbing mechanics, reminiscent of Conan Exiles, require significant refinement. The character frequently glitches while climbing, making it difficult to control, and initiating climbs is often frustrating due to what feels like mismatched bounding boxes on terrain. Nevermind trying to climb out of water onto rocks.
Combat, too, lacks polish. Striking an enemy fails to deliver any sense of impact, leaving encounters feeling underwhelming and clunky. However the creature design is stunning and the world feels relatively full of activities to do.

A Promising Foundation
Despite its flaws, Towers of Aghasba showcases immense potential. Its unique aesthetic, compelling concept, and focus on ecosystem restoration set it apart from typical survival games. As a fan of the genre, I find myself rooting for its growth. With further development and attention to its mechanics, this game could blossom into something truly remarkable. For now, it’s a promising journey worth keeping an eye on.

Discovering Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 – From Skepticism to Excitement

There’s something about finding a game to write an article about and when you start investigating, the game doesn’t speak to you immediately. Then, you dig a little deeper and start getting excited about it.
This is exactly what Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 was like for me. Sure, it looked cool—lots of games do these days—but my initial thought was that this was just another Gears of War-style game.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
Through an interview by Focus Entertainment with the development team at Saber Interactive, I learned that they have set themselves a daunting task. Millions of people love this franchise, which is both an exciting and frightening prospect. The team knows they need to make this game work. All members of the team have read the novels and played the previous games. They know what’s expected, and that’s why I trust that this will be a game close to the source material.
What Is Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 About?
The main narrative revolves around Lieutenant Titus, a legendary Space Marine who is determined to tackle the Tyranid swarms. The game offers several modes, including both PvE and PvP options.
According to the Saber Support website, here are the different game modes available: Campaign, Operations (PvE), Eternal War (PvP), Annihilation (Team Deathmatch), Seize Ground (Domination), Capture & Control (King of the Hill).
Clearly, there’s something for everyone! The graphics are insane, and the action looks even more intense. I can’t wait to dive into the narrative campaign and hope to bring you a full review soon.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is a thrilling Action RPG, set amid the chaos of a civil war in 15th Century Bohemia.
You are Henry of Skalitz, an ordinary man doing extraordinary things, caught in a gripping tale of revenge, betrayal and discovery as he embarks on an epic journey, ‘from a humble blacksmith’s forge to the court of Kings’, as he searches for purpose in this beautiful but brutal medieval world.
From bustling city streets to lush forests, discover this open-world Medieval Europe through an unforgettable adventure filled with action, thrill and wonder.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a 2018 action role-playing video game developed and published by Warhorse Studios, and co-published by Deep Silver. The game is set in the medieval Kingdom of Bohemia, an Imperial State of the Holy Roman Empire, with a focus on historically accurate content.
What happened in the first Kingdom Come Deliverance?
During a war in Bohemia in 1403, in the time of King Wenceslaus IV, on the orders of the Hungarian King Sigismund, half-brother of Wenceslaus, Cuman mercenaries raid the silver-mining village of Skalitz. The player’s character, Henry, survives the attack. Destitute and vengeful, Henry joins the service of Lord Radzig Kobyla, who leads a resistance movement against Sigismund’s invasion. In pursuit of justice and revenge for his murdered family, Henry becomes involved in an effort to restore Bohemia’s rightful king, Wenceslaus IV, to the throne. The game features branching quest lines, an open-world environment, and period-accurate weapons, clothing, combat techniques, and architecture (recreated with the assistance of architects and historians), which encourage immersive gameplay.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II | Deep Silver / PLAION
This game, despite experiencing a little pushback at release, became a cult classic, with people holding it in high regard for its attention to detail. The developers at Warhorse Studios kept details about the sequel under wraps for a long time, so it was a surprise to everyone when they announced the game with an epic trailer!
This game is highly anticipated, featuring returning mechanics from the first game as well as brand new ones! It’s rumoured to be released in late fall of 2024, so we don’t have long to wait!
